Delphine Diallo

Delphine Diallo is a French-Senegalese photographer known for her distinctive and powerful portraits that challenge traditional beauty standards and explore themes of identity, race, and gender.
In my work, I strive to create a visual language that honours the divine female body, and empowers women to become the heroines of their own stories.
I have been shooting with Nikon ever since the beginning of my career – spanning over twenty years. For me, the quality of Nikon’s products cannot be surpassed, and its’ cameras and lenses seem to possess the power to capture my vision every single time.
From my very first, somewhat magical, Nikon F100 film camera, right the way up to my current Nikon Z f, my Nikon kit has always ensured outstanding precision while maintaining natural representation of my subjects. The Z f’s stunning full-frame image quality allows me to create a spellbinding aesthetic that’s completely unique to my work and the empowering messages I’m trying to convey.
